Gallagher has emerged as one of Chelsea's standout performers in a rather underwhelming season with the 23-year-old midfielder being a key player at the centre of the park. He enjoys the unwavering trust of Pochettino and has also served as the team captain for a significant part of the campaign in the absence of regular skipper Reece James.

According to Chelsea have set a price tag of £35 million ($45m) on Gallagher to move to north London. Tottenham had previously expressed interest in signing the English international during the summer transfer window. While Chelsea were open to the deal, an agreement was not finalised at that time. But things could pan out differently this time around as Todd Boehly and Co are allegedly willing to permit Gallagher's departure and have welcomed Tottenham's renewed interest in the academy graduate.
